Intergalactic Bowie Day

Kevin Cole from KEXP, Ben London from Northwest Polite Society and Independence Printage (Eric Carnell) teamed up to produce Intergalactic Bowie Day Friday January 9th!! A day to celebrate the music, art and weirdness of the Thin White Duke, everybody’s favorite alien David Bowie. KEXP will be playing all Bowie, and Bowie related music including deep cuts, influenced music, and influential tracks. To match up, Independence Printage commissioned 14 artists (including Fogland Members: Hon Jorn, David Gallo, Kelsey Gallo, Alex Pascual, Tory Franklin and Barry Blankenship) to create unique pieces of art to commemorate iconic moments in the world around the genius that is Bowie.
Limited Edition Screen Prints will be making the rounds over the next few months (and you can see them in the Gallery), but also, the streets are covered with fliers using this art to improve the visuals on the streets of Seattle starting today. See if you can find all 14!
